On Polymarket, Bitcoin Up or Down - May 31, 2PM ET is priced as a binary outcome contract where traders buy and sell shares representing each direction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the probability traders assign to that result, ranging from near 0 to near 100. As the May 31 deadline approaches, prices typically tighten around the most likely outcome, and volatility may spike around key Bitcoin catalysts or macroeconomic announcements.
The Bitcoin Up or Down - May 31, 2PM ET market resolves on May 31, 2026. Resolution is determined by Bitcoin's price direction at the specified time and date. Traders should monitor the exact resolution criteria and data source used by Polymarket to avoid ambiguity. Market participants typically watch for official price feeds and settlement announcements in the days leading up to and following the deadline. Early resolution or delays may occur if there are technical issues or disputes over the reference price used.
Bitcoin's direction through May 31 could be influenced by Federal Reserve policy announcements, inflation data, and macroeconomic sentiment. Regulatory developments, major institutional adoption news, or significant security incidents could trigger sharp moves. On-chain metrics such as whale accumulation, exchange inflows, and mining activity often precede price shifts. Geopolitical events, traditional market volatility, and correlation with equities may also drive Bitcoin's trajectory. Technical levels and options expiry dates can create support or resistance zones that influence short-term price action leading to resolution.
