This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective belief about Bitcoin's direction by June 7, 11PM ET, which often diverges from spot price momentum alone. While spot price charts show recent volatility and technical levels, prediction markets price in forward-looking sentiment, regulatory risk, macroeconomic events, and tail risks that spot traders may underweight. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in consensus or contrarian views. Prediction odds tend to be more dynamic than static price targets, adjusting minute-by-minute as new information flows.
On Polymarket, the Bitcoin Up or Down - June 7, 11PM ET event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy shares representing either the up or down outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the probability assigned by the market; a share trading at 0.65 implies a 65% chance of that outcome. Liquidity and order book depth determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions. As the June 7, 11PM ET deadline approaches, prices typically converge toward either 0 or 1 based on realized Bitcoin price movement and trader conviction.
The market resolves on Jun 8, 2026. Resolution is determined by Bitcoin's price movement relative to a specified reference level at the exact resolution timestamp. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive full payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The outcome is binary: either Bitcoin moves up or down from the reference point. Precision in timing and price data is critical, as even small variations can shift the result. Once the market resolves, no further trading is possible and payouts are distributed to winners.
Bitcoin's direction by June 7, 11PM ET could be shaped by Federal Reserve policy announcements, inflation data, geopolitical developments, and major corporate or institutional adoption news. Regulatory statements from the SEC or international bodies often trigger sharp moves. Technical levels and options expiry dates can also influence price action. Macro sentiment shifts, such as risk-on or risk-off flows, tend to drag Bitcoin with broader markets. On-chain metrics like whale accumulation or exchange inflows may signal conviction among sophisticated traders. Real-time monitoring of these catalysts helps predict whether odds on Polymarket will shift toward up or down.
