Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the BTC/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/btc-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream BTC/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
Prediction market odds reflect collective trader expectations about Bitcoin's directional movement during the June 6 window, which may differ from current spot price analysis or technical forecasts. While spot price expectations focus on where Bitcoin trades now, prediction markets price in forward-looking sentiment about volatility and direction over a specific timeframe. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst price targets or on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish bias. These two signals together provide a fuller picture of market conviction versus current valuation.
The market resolves at Jun 6, 2026. The outcome is determined by Bitcoin's price movement during the specified four-hour trading window on June 6, from 8:00AM to 12:00PM ET. The resolution compares Bitcoin's price at the start of the window to its price at the close, establishing whether the net movement was up or down. Traders should monitor Bitcoin spot prices on major exchanges during this exact timeframe to anticipate the likely resolution.
Several catalysts could influence Bitcoin's direction during the June 6 window. Macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, or major regulatory announcements could trigger volatility. Crypto-specific news such as significant exchange flows, large whale transactions, or developments in Bitcoin adoption could also shift sentiment. Market-wide risk appetite and equity index movements often correlate with Bitcoin price action. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may attract algorithmic trading. Monitoring financial calendars, news feeds, and on-chain metrics in the days leading up to June 6 will help you assess directional bias.
