The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective expectations about Bitcoin's directional movement by Jun 6, 2026, which often diverge from spot price technicals alone. While spot price analysis relies on chart patterns and recent momentum, prediction markets incorporate broader information including macroeconomic events, regulatory news, and sentiment shifts. The market odds represent an aggregated bet across many participants with real financial stakes, making them a forward-looking gauge of probability. Comparing these odds to analyst price targets and on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in tail risks or consensus moves that technical analysis might miss.
On Polymarket, the Bitcoin Up or Down - June 6, 5AM ET event is priced as two complementary outcome tokens: one for an up move and one for a down move. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell these tokens based on their conviction, with prices reflecting real-time supply and demand. The market uses an automated market maker model, so prices shift continuously as volume flows in. Each outcome token's price directly represents its implied probability, ranging from near-zero to near-100 percent. Liquidity depth and recent trading volume determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions without significant slippage.
The Bitcoin Up or Down - June 6, 5AM ET market resolves at Jun 6, 2026. At that time, the outcome is determined by comparing Bitcoin's price at the specified moment against a reference level established at market creation. The resolution process is automated and final once the snapshot is taken. Traders should verify the exact reference price and data source used by Polymarket before the resolution window closes. After resolution, winning outcome tokens can be redeemed for their full value, while losing tokens expire worthless.
Several catalysts could shift Bitcoin's direction by Jun 6, 2026. Macroeconomic announcements—such as Federal Reserve policy signals, inflation data, or employment reports—often trigger broad risk-on or risk-off moves. Regulatory developments, including statements from the SEC or international authorities, can spark volatility. On-chain metrics like exchange inflows and whale transactions may signal accumulation or distribution pressure. Technical levels and support or resistance zones can act as pivots. Additionally, geopolitical events, corporate adoption news, or major exchange listings can rapidly reshape market sentiment. Traders monitor these signals to adjust positions ahead of the resolution snapshot.
