This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, Bitcoin Up or Down - June 3, 6AM ET is priced as a binary contract where each outcome trades as a separate share. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy shares in either the Up or Down outcome, and the price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring by the resolution deadline. As new trades flow in, prices adjust in real time. The sum of both outcome prices equals one dollar, so if Up trades at 50 cents, Down also trades at 50 cents, representing equal market conviction.
The Bitcoin Up or Down - June 3, 6AM ET market resolves at Jun 3, 2026. At that moment, the outcome is determined by Bitcoin's price movement relative to the specified parameters. Traders who held shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The resolution is final once the market closes, and all positions are settled according to the outcome determination criteria established at market creation.
Bitcoin's price action leading up to June 3, 6AM ET could be influenced by macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, regulatory announcements, major corporate or institutional Bitcoin transactions, and shifts in broader risk sentiment. Geopolitical developments, inflation reports, and cryptocurrency-specific news such as exchange outflows or whale wallet movements can also trigger volatility. Technical levels and support/resistance zones may guide short-term momentum. Traders monitor these catalysts closely to adjust their positions and update their probability estimates as new information emerges.
