Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing "Up" or "Down" outcomes. The current odds reflect the cumulative trading activity and market depth; as more capital flows into one side, the price adjusts to equilibrate supply and demand. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so prices update in real time based on order flow. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity; tighter spreads suggest higher confidence and easier entry or exit for traders.

The market resolves at Jun 3, 2026, marking the official settlement time for this event. At that moment, the outcome is determined by Bitcoin's price direction relative to the specified baseline. All shares are then paid out according to the winning outcome: holders of correct shares receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution is final once confirmed, and traders can withdraw winnings or reinvest in other markets on the platform.

Major catalysts include macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve policy signals, and regulatory announcements affecting cryptocurrency. Bitcoin's correlation with equities and risk sentiment means stock market volatility, inflation reports, and geopolitical developments can shift direction. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, exchange inflows, and mining activity may also influence short-term momentum. Technical levels, options expiry dates, and derivative liquidations can trigger sharp moves. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate shifts in prediction market odds leading up to June 3, 3AM ET.
