This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader consensus on Bitcoin's directional move by June 3, 1PM ET, which often diverges from spot price alone. While spot price shows current market value, prediction odds incorporate forward-looking sentiment, volatility expectations, and macro catalysts. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish momentum. Traders use this gap to identify potential mispricings relative to technical analysis and fundamental outlook.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Bitcoin Up or Down - June 3, 1PM ET contract is priced as a binary outcome: traders buy or sell shares representing either an up or down move. The price of each outcome reflects the collective probability assigned by the market. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery. Polymarket's automated market maker model allows continuous trading up to resolution, so odds shift dynamically as new information and trades flow in throughout the event window.
The market resolves on Jun 3, 2026. Resolution is determined by Bitcoin's price direction at the specified time of June 3, 1PM ET. The outcome hinges on whether Bitcoin closes above or below its opening price at that exact moment. Traders should monitor the market closely as the resolution window approaches, as final minutes often see increased volatility and position adjustments. Once the snapshot time passes, the outcome is locked and the market settles accordingly.
Key catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, inflation data releases, and major crypto regulatory developments. Institutional adoption news, significant exchange inflows or outflows, and macroeconomic sentiment shifts can all influence Bitcoin's directional bias. Technical levels and support/resistance zones matter as traders position ahead of June 3. Geopolitical events, corporate earnings, and on-chain metrics like whale transactions may also sway short-term momentum. Monitor news flow and volatility indices closely in the days leading up to resolution.
