Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective belief about Bitcoin's directional move, which often diverges from spot price momentum alone. While spot price charts show historical price action, prediction markets incorporate forward-looking sentiment, news flow, and macro catalysts into their odds. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts and on-chain signals can reveal whether the market is pricing in consensus expectations or contrarian positioning. This event's odds may shift sharply if major regulatory announcements, Fed statements, or Bitcoin network developments emerge before resolution.

Bitcoin's price direction by June 3, 11PM ET could be influenced by Federal Reserve policy signals, inflation data releases, or major macroeconomic announcements. Regulatory news from the SEC, CFTC, or international bodies often triggers sharp directional moves. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, exchange inflows, or mining activity shifts may also sway trader sentiment. Technical levels, support and resistance zones, and options expiry dates can act as magnets for price action. Additionally, geopolitical developments or corporate adoption announcements could create volatility that pushes Bitcoin toward either outcome.
