This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing "Up" or "Down" outcomes. The market price of each share reflects the probability traders assign to that outcome, with prices ranging from $0 to $1. As traders buy or sell shares based on their conviction, prices move in real time. The current odds and share prices are displayed on the event page, allowing you to see exactly what probability the market is pricing in for Bitcoin moving up versus down by the June 3 10PM ET snapshot time.
The market resolves at Jun 4, 2026. Resolution is determined by Bitcoin's price direction at the specified snapshot time on June 3 at 10PM ET. Traders should monitor Bitcoin's price action closely as the deadline approaches, since even small price movements in the final hours can shift the outcome. Once the snapshot time passes, the market will settle based on the recorded price, and winning shares will be redeemed at full value while losing shares expire worthless.
Key catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, inflation data releases, and major macroeconomic news that typically drive risk-on or risk-off sentiment. Regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrency exchanges or custody also influence Bitcoin direction. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, exchange inflows, or mining difficulty adjustments can signal accumulation or distribution pressure. Technical levels and support/resistance zones matter for short-term price action. Additionally, broader equity market movements, geopolitical events, and corporate or institutional Bitcoin adoption announcements can shift sentiment sharply in the days leading up to the June 3 10PM ET resolution window.
