This event group tracks whether Bitcoin's price on the BTC/USDT pair at Binance closes higher than or equal to its opening price during the 1-hour candle beginning June 27, 2024 at 8:00 AM ET. Resolution depends on the finalized close and open prices from Binance's 1H candlestick chart for that specific time window.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity depths, and fee structures, all of which influence how prices settle. Polymarket and Predict may also have slightly different user bases responding to news at different speeds or with varying risk appetites. Arbitrage opportunities sometimes emerge when one venue lags the other, though active traders typically work to close such gaps quickly.
Major catalysts include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, shifts in institutional adoption, and statements from central banks or major crypto platforms. Technical breakouts or breakdowns can also accelerate trader positioning. Geopolitical events, changes in traditional market risk appetite, and on-chain activity spikes may all influence how traders reassess the odds leading up to the resolution window.
