This event group tracks whether Bitcoin's price on the BTC/USDT pair at Binance closes higher than or equal to its opening price during the 1-hour candle beginning June 27, 2024 at 7:00 AM ET. Resolution depends on the finalized close and open prices from Binance's 1H candlestick chart for that specific time window.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader bases, liquidity depths, and fee structures, which can create temporary price gaps on identical events. Polymarket and Predict may also have different user interfaces, promotional incentives, or settlement rule interpretations that influence how traders price risk. Arbitrage opportunities arise when one platform's odds diverge significantly from the other; savvy traders exploit these spreads. Monitoring both venues helps you identify whether a price move reflects genuine new information or simply platform-specific trading dynamics.
Macroeconomic announcements—Federal Reserve policy shifts, inflation data, or geopolitical developments—often trigger sharp Bitcoin repricing and shift odds significantly. Regulatory news, major exchange hacks or outages, and large on-chain transactions can also swing sentiment. Technical levels and support or resistance breaches may prompt momentum traders to reposition. Correlation with traditional markets, equity volatility spikes, and shifts in institutional adoption narratives all influence how traders adjust their directional bets. Monitor crypto news, macro calendars, and on-chain metrics closely for early signals.
