This event group tracks whether Bitcoin's price on the BTC/USDT pair at Binance closes higher than or equal to its opening price during the 1-hour candle beginning June 27, 2024 at 5:00 AM ET. Resolution depends on the finalized close and open prices from Binance's 1H candlestick chart for that specific time window.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Polymarket and Predict operate distinct liquidity pools, user bases, and fee structures. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Differences in trader composition, regional access, and platform-specific incentives can push odds apart temporarily. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these gaps, but friction costs and settlement risk mean small spreads often persist. Monitoring both platforms helps you identify mispricing and understand which venue reflects stronger conviction on directional movement.
Major catalysts include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, and shifts in institutional or retail sentiment toward crypto assets. Technical breaks above or below key support and resistance levels often trigger repricing. Broader equity market volatility, central bank communications, and on-chain activity can also influence directional bets. Monitoring news flow and order book depth on this market helps traders anticipate momentum shifts before they're fully priced in.
