On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism, where each outcome token trades against a liquidity pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The odds you see reflect the ratio of capital allocated to each side. As traders buy or sell outcome shares, the price adjusts dynamically. Higher demand for one outcome pushes its price up and probability higher, while the opposing outcome becomes cheaper. This continuous repricing ensures the market stays responsive to breaking news and shifting expectations.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the event window closes and the outcome is verifiable from credible public sources. The result hinges on whether Bitcoin's price has moved upward or downward from its level at the market's opening. Resolution is determined by comparing the price at the specified time against established benchmarks, confirmed through widely-reported market data. Traders should monitor Bitcoin's price action closely as the deadline approaches, since even small moves can determine which outcome prevails.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve announcements, inflation data, and macroeconomic policy shifts that typically drive risk-on or risk-off sentiment. Regulatory news—whether supportive or restrictive—can trigger sharp Bitcoin repricing. On-chain metrics like exchange inflows, whale transactions, and mining activity may signal institutional positioning. Technical breakouts above or below key resistance levels often accelerate trader conviction. Geopolitical developments and traditional market volatility (equities, bonds, commodities) also influence Bitcoin's directional bias, since traders often view it as a risk asset correlated with broader market mood.
