On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker and order book, with share prices ranging from $0 to $1 based on perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the balance of buy and sell pressure; as more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and the opposing outcome falls. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader conviction.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning outcome is determined by whether Bitcoin's price has moved in the specified direction by the deadline. Once resolution is finalized, winning shares are redeemed at full value and losing shares expire worthless.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, macroeconomic data releases, and regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrency markets. Significant Bitcoin whale transactions, technical breakouts above or below key support and resistance levels, and shifts in institutional adoption sentiment can all trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, geopolitical events, changes in stablecoin supply, and competing asset class performance may influence trader positioning in this market.
