The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective expectations about Bitcoin's directional move by June 2, 9AM ET, which may differ from current spot price momentum or technical analysis. While spot markets react to immediate price action, prediction markets price in longer-term sentiment and event risk over the full duration until resolution. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts or on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish catalysts. Divergences between prediction odds and spot technicals often signal trading opportunities for contrarian positions.
On Polymarket, Bitcoin Up or Down - June 2, 9AM ET is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome share reflects the probability assigned by the market; for example, a share trading at 0.65 implies a 65% chance of that outcome occurring. Liquidity and order flow on Polymarket determine how quickly prices move and how much slippage traders experience. As the June 2 resolution date approaches, prices typically become more volatile as new information emerges and positions are adjusted.
Bitcoin's price direction by June 2, 9AM ET could be influenced by macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, regulatory announcements, or major institutional moves. Crypto-specific catalysts include network upgrades, exchange inflows or outflows, and large whale transactions. Geopolitical events or shifts in risk sentiment can also drive Bitcoin volatility. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may trigger algorithmic trading. Monitoring on-chain metrics, funding rates on derivatives exchanges, and social sentiment can help predict which way traders are positioning ahead of the resolution window.
