Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective expectations about Bitcoin's directional movement during that specific four-hour window, which may diverge from broader spot price forecasts or analyst sentiment. While spot markets price Bitcoin continuously based on supply and demand, this event market isolates a discrete time window and binary outcome. Comparing the implied probability from Polymarket to traditional analyst price targets or social media sentiment can reveal whether traders are more or less bullish than the wider market consensus on that particular evening.

Several catalysts could influence Bitcoin's direction during this window. Macroeconomic announcements, Federal Reserve communications, or major regulatory news could trigger sharp moves. Crypto-specific events—such as large exchange transfers, whale wallet activity, or protocol upgrades—often drive intraday volatility. Market-wide risk sentiment, stock market performance, and traditional finance closing hours can also affect Bitcoin's trajectory. Technical levels and support-resistance zones may guide traders' positioning. Monitoring news flow, on-chain metrics, and broader financial markets in the days leading up to June 10 will help traders assess shifting probabilities on Polymarket.
