This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BTC/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, the Bitcoin Up or Down - June 10, 10PM ET event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the market's probability estimate, ranging from $0 to $1, with the sum of both outcomes equaling $1. Traders profit by purchasing undervalued outcomes or selling overvalued ones. Polymarket's automated market maker model ensures continuous liquidity, allowing participants to enter and exit positions at transparent, real-time prices throughout the event window.
Bitcoin's price direction by June 10, 10PM ET could be influenced by macroeconomic announcements, Federal Reserve communications, regulatory developments, or major institutional flows. Geopolitical tensions, inflation data, and shifts in risk appetite often drive short-term volatility. On-chain metrics such as exchange inflows or whale accumulation may signal trader positioning. Technical levels and support/resistance zones established in the days leading up to the event can also act as catalysts. Monitor financial news, central bank statements, and Bitcoin derivatives markets for clues about directional momentum.
