Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect collective trader expectations about Bitcoin's directional movement during that specific four-hour window. These odds often diverge from traditional spot price analysis because they incorporate real money incentives and crowd wisdom. Analysts and on-chain observers may focus on longer-term trends or technical levels, while prediction markets isolate a precise time window, creating different risk-reward dynamics. The market odds represent a probabilistic consensus distinct from conventional price forecasts or sentiment surveys.

The market resolves after Jun 2, 2026, once the four-hour trading window closes. Resolution is determined by Bitcoin's price movement during that specific period on June 1st. The outcome hinges on whether the closing price at 12:00AM ET is higher or lower than the opening price at 8:00PM ET. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout once the result is confirmed and the market settles.

Several catalysts could influence Bitcoin's direction during this window. Macroeconomic announcements, Federal Reserve communications, or major regulatory news could trigger volatility. Crypto-specific events such as large exchange flows, whale transactions, or protocol developments may also matter. Market sentiment shifts driven by traditional finance movements or geopolitical developments could sway traders. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may attract algorithmic trading. Real-time social media trends and sentiment swings among retail traders can amplify price moves within the compressed four-hour timeframe.
