This market tracks whether Bitcoin will trade above $62,000 on Polymarket, measured by the Binance BTC/USDT closing price at noon ET on the specified date. The leading outcome currently stands at 100.0% probability. Resolution will be determined by the 1-minute candle close price on Binance's BTC/USDT pair at 12:00 PM ET, with the market settling based on that single data point. Watch the Binance BTC/USDT price action as it approaches noon ET on July 4, 2026, when the resolution window closes.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Binance 1 minute candle for BTC/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title has a final "Close" price higher than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs. Price precision is determined by the number of decimal places in the source.
Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, which often diverges from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. While Bitcoin's live exchange price shows where it trades right now, this market captures forward-looking conviction about a specific price level on a future date. Traders factor in volatility, macroeconomic catalysts, and regulatory developments when pricing their positions. Comparing the implied odds here to your own view of Bitcoin's trajectory can reveal whether the market is pricing in optimism or caution relative to consensus expectations.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying and selling pressure directly moves the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the outcome, and the current price reflects the marginal trader's willingness to buy or sell at that level. Liquidity and order flow determine how quickly prices shift, so periods of high trading volume can produce sharper moves than quieter windows. Your entry and exit prices depend on the depth of the order book at the moment you trade.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result hinges on whether Bitcoin's price crosses the specified threshold on that date. Once the resolution window closes and the data is finalized, the market will pay out shares accordingly. Traders holding the winning side receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, inflation data, and shifts in institutional adoption sentiment. Regulatory developments—whether supportive or restrictive—can trigger sharp repricing. Macroeconomic stress or risk-on sentiment in equities often correlates with Bitcoin moves. Technical levels and options expiry dates may also influence short-term volatility. Geopolitical events, corporate treasury announcements, and spot ETF inflows are additional factors traders monitor. Monitoring these signals helps you anticipate how conviction in this market may evolve before resolution.
