This market tracks whether Bitcoin will trade above $64,000 on Polymarket, with resolution determined by the Binance BTC/USDT closing price at noon ET on the specified date. The leading outcome, Bitcoin trading above $64,000, currently stands at 100.0% on Polymarket. Resolution will be based on the 1-minute candle close price from Binance's BTC/USDT pair at 12:00 ET timezone on July 15, 2026. Watch the Binance BTC/USDT price action as it approaches the noon ET close on July 15, 2026, which will determine the final settlement.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Binance 1 minute candle for BTC/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title has a final "Close" price higher than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs. Price precision is determined by the number of decimal places in the source.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader beliefs about where Bitcoin will settle by the resolution date, often diverging from today's spot price. While spot markets price Bitcoin's current value, this market prices the probability of a specific price level at a future moment. Traders who expect Bitcoin to appreciate significantly may bid up odds, while those anticipating consolidation or decline will push them lower. The gap between current spot price and the threshold, combined with volatility expectations, typically determines how bullish or bearish the market leans.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism, where buying YES shares pushes the probability higher and selling them lowers it. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the marginal cost of the next share purchased or sold, creating a continuous price discovery process. Liquidity providers deposit capital into the market's pool, and traders execute against that pool, with spreads tightening as volume increases. This design ensures transparent, real-time pricing without reliance on a central counterparty.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. At that time, Bitcoin's price will be checked against the specified threshold to determine whether the YES or NO outcome has occurred. Traders holding the winning side receive their payout, while the losing side forfeits their stake. The resolution is binary and final, leaving no ambiguity once the data is established.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, macroeconomic data releases, regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrency, and Bitcoin network upgrades or security events. Geopolitical tensions, corporate adoption news, and shifts in institutional investment flows can also drive sharp repricing. Technical levels and on-chain metrics—such as exchange inflows or whale accumulation—often trigger retail and algorithmic trading activity. As the resolution date approaches, any narrowing of the price range or increased volatility typically amplifies trading volume and widens bid-ask spreads.
