Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, which often diverges from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. In this market, the implied probability represents the crowd's confidence that Bitcoin will trade above the target level on the settlement date. Unlike static price targets, these odds update continuously as new information emerges, making them a dynamic gauge of market expectations relative to today's spot price and longer-term sentiment.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that pay out if Bitcoin closes above the specified price on Jul 13, 2026. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price of these shares directly reflects the probability the community assigns to the outcome. As traders enter positions based on their views of Bitcoin's trajectory, the share price adjusts, creating a continuous price discovery mechanism that aggregates dispersed information into a single odds figure.
This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once Bitcoin's price is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether the spot price exceeded the target level at that time. Shares held by traders who correctly predicted the outcome pay out in full, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The exact timing and price source follow standard market protocols to ensure fair and transparent settlement.
