This set of markets determines which company develops the highest-ranked large language model by October 26, 2026. Each market corresponds to a different tech company and resolves based on the ranking of their respective AI model.
Each market resolves to Yes if the specified company's LLM holds the top rank on Oct 26, 2026. Tie-breaking proceeds as follows: first, the model with the highest Arena Score wins; if still tied, the model with the most votes wins; if still tied, the earlier-released model wins. When checking rankings, users must enable the 'Remove Style Control' toggle. As with all markets, Kalshi disclaims any official connection to the Governing League, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts rely on models and expert judgment, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, reflecting a broader range of information and potential outcomes. Discrepancies can arise when the market anticipates factors not fully captured in analyst reports, or when traders have access to unique insights. It's not uncommon to see the market assign a higher probability to an unexpected outcome than initially predicted by experts, offering a valuable alternative viewpoint on the potential for AI performance.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders submit buy and sell orders for contracts, and the price adjusts based on supply and demand. As more traders believe an outcome is likely, the price of contracts representing that outcome increases. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, offering a constantly updated assessment of probabilities. The current price of a contract represents the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which AI model demonstrates the strongest overall performance based on a set of standardized benchmarks. The specific benchmarks used to assess performance will be publicly available prior to resolution. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their purchased contracts align with the ultimately determined best-performing AI model.
Several signals or events could significantly impact this market. Unexpected announcements regarding advancements in AI technology, the release of new benchmark results, or shifts in public perception of different AI models could all drive trading activity. Furthermore, any news related to the companies developing these AIs, such as funding rounds or key personnel changes, could also influence the market. Finally, the performance of these AIs on other widely-tracked tasks or datasets could shift trader sentiment and move the odds.
