Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional polling because traders incorporate a broader range of information—including fundraising data, endorsements, campaign momentum, and historical primary patterns—into their real-time bets. While polls capture voter sentiment at a single moment, this market continuously updates as new signals emerge. Traders who accurately forecast outcomes profit, creating strong incentives for precision. Comparing odds here to published polling averages can reveal where the market sees opportunities that surveys may have missed, though both approaches offer valuable but distinct perspectives on the race.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker that balances supply and demand for each candidate's contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of any outcome contract reflects the implied probability that candidate will win the primary, with contracts trading between $0.00 and $1.00. As traders buy shares believing a candidate will win, the price rises; selling pressure lowers it. This continuous price discovery mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to breaking news, polling shifts, and campaign developments throughout the race.
This market resolves around Jul 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Republican primary election results are verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning contract will be determined by which candidate receives the most votes in the Arizona Republican State Treasurer primary. Resolution occurs after official results are certified and reported by Arizona election authorities or major news outlets. Traders should monitor the official primary date and any changes to the election calendar that might affect the resolution timeline.
Major catalysts include candidate announcements, debate performances, endorsements from prominent Arizona Republicans, and shifts in fundraising totals. Media coverage of campaign controversies or policy positions can trigger sharp price movements. Polling releases—especially from reputable Arizona-focused surveys—often drive significant trading volume. Changes in candidate field composition, such as withdrawals or late entries, reshape odds for remaining contenders. Voter registration trends and early voting data closer to the primary date may also influence market prices as traders refine their forecasts based on emerging turnout signals.
