This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Apple Inc. (AAPL) on June 30 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Apple Inc. (AAPL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AAPL/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than institutional research alone. Analysts typically publish quarterly or annual targets based on fundamental analysis, while this market aggregates live trader beliefs about a specific closing price on a fixed date. When analyst sentiment shifts or earnings surprises occur, prediction market odds can move faster than published forecasts. Comparing the two reveals whether professional consensus aligns with or diverges from the decentralized market's pricing.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism, with the price reflecting the probability that AAPL closes above the specified level by the resolution date. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract trades between 0 and 1 cent, where higher prices indicate stronger confidence in the outcome. Liquidity providers and speculators continuously adjust their bids and asks, causing the market price to fluctuate in response to new information, technical analysis, and macroeconomic developments affecting tech stocks.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once AAPL's official closing price is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether the stock price meets or exceeds the threshold specified in the market title at market close on that date. Traders holding the winning contract receive their payout once the event is settled and verified, while losing positions expire worthless. The exact closing price from major financial data providers determines the final outcome.
Earnings announcements, product launches, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic shifts can all drive significant price swings in this market. Broader tech sector momentum, interest rate changes, and competitive pressures from rivals influence Apple's stock trajectory. Analyst upgrades or downgrades, insider trading disclosures, and geopolitical events affecting supply chains may also trigger rapid repricing. Traders monitor financial news, technical chart patterns, and options market implied volatility to anticipate moves before they materialize in the prediction market.
