This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Apple Inc. (AAPL) on June 16 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Apple Inc. (AAPL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AAPL/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds reflect real-time aggregated trader conviction, often diverging from traditional analyst price targets because markets incorporate live information and incentivize accuracy through financial stakes. Analysts typically publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts with longer revision cycles, while this market reprices continuously as new data emerges. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus estimates from equity research can reveal where the crowd expects upside or downside surprise relative to published guidance.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes, with the share price directly reflecting the probability of Apple closing above the target level on the settlement date. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price adjusts in real time based on order flow and supply-demand dynamics; higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery. Participants profit by correctly predicting the outcome, creating strong incentives for informed trading and efficient pricing.
This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, once Apple's official closing price for that trading day is finalized and verifiable from credible public financial sources. The outcome is binary: the market confirms yes if AAPL closes above the specified price level, or no if it closes at or below that threshold. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close, allowing traders to settle positions promptly.
Key catalysts include Apple earnings announcements, product launches, macroeconomic data affecting tech valuations, changes in interest rates, and shifts in competitive positioning. Regulatory developments, supply-chain updates, and management commentary can also drive significant repricing. Broader market volatility, sector rotation, and investor sentiment toward mega-cap technology stocks will influence how traders assess the probability of hitting the target price by the settlement date.
