This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Apple Inc. (AAPL) on June 12 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Apple Inc. (AAPL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AAPL/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from traders with direct financial incentive to forecast accurately, whereas analyst estimates may reflect longer-term outlooks or institutional constraints. This market's implied probability can serve as a complementary signal to Wall Street consensus, especially for near-term moves. Comparing the odds here to published analyst reports on Apple's near-term momentum can reveal where the market consensus differs from professional forecasters on the likelihood of this specific price level being reached by the resolution date.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Participants purchase YES or NO shares at prices between 0 and 100 cents, with the spread between bid and ask reflecting the market's confidence in the outcome. As more capital flows toward one side, the price moves to equilibrate supply and demand, ensuring that the final odds reflect the collective belief of all active traders in the prediction market at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jun 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result hinges on whether Apple's stock price closes above the specified threshold on that date. Traders holding YES shares are paid out if the condition is met; NO holders are paid if it is not. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close, once official price data is available and verified.
Earnings announcements, product launches, macroeconomic data, and shifts in tech sector sentiment can all drive significant price swings in this market. Unexpected changes to Apple's guidance, competitive pressures, or broader market volatility may cause traders to reassess the likelihood of the stock reaching the target price. Regulatory news, supply chain updates, and major index movements also influence near-term stock performance. Real-time news flow and intraday trading patterns typically create the most immediate momentum shifts as the resolution date approaches.
