This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Apple Inc. (AAPL) on July 7 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Apple Inc. (AAPL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AAPL/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds reflect the aggregated beliefs of traders with real money at stake, often diverging from traditional analyst price targets or consensus estimates. While Wall Street analysts may issue forward guidance based on earnings models and industry trends, this market prices the specific binary outcome—whether Apple closes above a defined level on a given date—based on live trading. Comparing the implied probability here to published analyst sentiment can reveal whether the market is pricing in more bullish or bearish expectations than the consensus view, offering an alternative gauge of near-term stock direction.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes, with the price of each share reflecting the market's implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The order book aggregates all buy and sell orders, and the current mid-price (or last-traded price) represents the consensus odds at any moment. As new information emerges—earnings reports, macroeconomic data, or shifts in investor sentiment—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down and continuously repricing the likelihood of Apple closing above the target level by the settlement date.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the trading day concludes and Apple's official closing price is published. The outcome is determined by comparing the final closing price to the specified threshold; if the stock closes at or above that level, the "yes" outcome wins, otherwise "no" prevails. Resolution is verified against credible public sources reporting Apple's end-of-day trading data, ensuring accuracy and fairness for all participants.
Major catalysts include Apple earnings announcements, product launches, macroeconomic data (inflation, interest rates, employment), and broader tech-sector sentiment shifts. Geopolitical developments, supply-chain disruptions, or regulatory news affecting Apple's business could also trigger sharp repricing. Intraday volatility, options expiration activity, and large institutional trades in the underlying stock may create momentum swings. Traders monitoring this market typically watch financial news, earnings calendars, and technical levels to anticipate price moves that could push Apple toward or away from the target closing price.
