This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Apple Inc. (AAPL) on July 2 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Apple Inc. (AAPL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AAPL/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and continuous updating rather than periodic research reports. While equity analysts publish quarterly or annual forecasts for Apple's stock, traders in this market adjust odds dynamically based on earnings reports, macroeconomic data, and intraday sentiment. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus analyst views can reveal whether the market is pricing in more bullish or bearish assumptions about Apple's near-term performance heading into early July.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Participants purchase shares representing either outcome—AAPL closes above the threshold or it does not—and the price of each share reflects the collective assessment of probability. As more capital flows into one side, the price adjusts upward; conversely, selling pressure lowers it. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market remains liquid and responsive to new information about Apple's stock trajectory.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once Apple's official closing price on July 2 is confirmed. The outcome is determined by whether AAPL closes above the specified price level on that date, verified against credible public sources such as financial data providers or official exchange records. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution is binary and final once the market's end time passes and the closing price is locked in.
Key catalysts that could shift odds include Apple's earnings announcements, product launches, macroeconomic data releases, and broader tech sector sentiment. Geopolitical developments, supply chain updates, or regulatory news affecting Apple's business can trigger sharp repricing. Intraday volatility on major indices, changes in interest rates, and analyst upgrades or downgrades may also influence trader positioning. As the July 2 close approaches, any company-specific news or market-wide corrections could accelerate movement in either direction, making this an active market for traders monitoring Apple's near-term trajectory.
