The 2026 Angri, Italy mayoral runoff election is currently scheduled to be held on June 7 and 8, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who becomes the next mayor of Angri as a result of this election. Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. This market includes any potential second round. If the result of this election isn't known by April 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting; however, if there is any ambiguity in the results, this market will resolve according to official information from Angri.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional polling because markets incorporate real-money incentives, late-breaking campaign developments, and trader expectations about voter behavior. While polls capture voter sentiment at a single point in time, prediction markets continuously update as new information emerges. For the Angri mayoral race, market prices may lead or lag polling averages depending on whether traders anticipate shifts in voter preference or have access to ground-level intelligence that surveys have not yet captured.
On Polymarket, each candidate in the Angri mayoral election is represented as a separate outcome contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each candidate's probability of winning, with prices ranging from 0 to 100 cents per share. The market price directly reflects the collective forecast: a candidate trading at 65 cents implies a 65% implied probability of victory. Volume and liquidity vary by candidate, and prices adjust continuously as new trades execute and election-relevant information becomes public.
The Angri Mayoral Election Winner market is scheduled to resolve on Jun 8, 2026. Resolution will be determined by the official election results announced by the relevant municipal or electoral authority in Angri. The winning candidate—the one who receives the most votes and is declared the legitimate mayor-elect—will be the basis for market settlement. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will receive their payout once results are confirmed and the market is officially settled.
Key catalysts for price movement include candidate campaign announcements, debate performances, endorsements from local or regional figures, and shifts in local economic conditions or policy controversies. Polling releases, voter registration changes, and turnout forecasts can also influence market odds. Late-stage scandals, coalition formations, or unexpected candidate withdrawals may trigger sharp repricing. As election day approaches, final opinion surveys and early voting data typically drive increased trading volume and volatility in the Angri mayoral market.
