This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Amazon (AMZN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and live market sentiment rather than periodic research updates. This market aggregates the collective judgment of traders betting on Amazon's closing price, which can incorporate forward-looking signals—earnings whispers, macroeconomic shifts, or sector rotation—faster than consensus estimates update. Comparing the leading outcome probability to published analyst ranges offers a useful reality check: if this market shows significantly higher conviction around a particular price band than Wall Street consensus, it may signal either superior information or speculative positioning worth investigating further.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares tied to discrete price outcomes—for instance, the probability that AMZN closes in the $210–$215 range. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome's price reflects the ratio of capital allocated to it relative to total liquidity in the market. As traders place orders, the automated market maker adjusts probabilities in real time. The top outcome currently reflects strong conviction among participants, though prices can shift rapidly if new information emerges or large positions unwind before resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the final trading week concludes and Amazon's official closing price is confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources—such as financial data providers or official exchange records—to determine which price band AMZN settled into. Resolution is typically swift once the event is verifiable, allowing traders to collect winnings or losses within hours of market close. Participants should monitor for any corporate actions or trading halts that might affect the final settlement price.
Amazon's stock price can shift on earnings surprises, guidance revisions, macroeconomic data, sector rotation, or major news around cloud services, retail, or advertising. Broader market movements—Fed policy signals, tech sector rallies or selloffs, or changes in interest rate expectations—often drive AMZN alongside peers. Insider transactions, activist investor activity, or competitive announcements can also trigger repricing. Traders monitoring this market should watch earnings calendars, economic releases, and Amazon-specific headlines in the days leading up to the final close. Volatility spikes near resolution are common as late-arriving information crystallizes positions.
