This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Amazon (AMZN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from thousands of traders rather than relying on a handful of institutional estimates. Analysts typically publish quarterly or annual targets based on fundamental models, while this market updates continuously as new information emerges. Traders who believe consensus forecasts are too bullish or bearish can profit by taking opposing positions, creating a dynamic pricing mechanism. Over time, prediction markets have demonstrated competitive accuracy against expert predictions, particularly for near-term events like weekly closing prices where market microstructure and technical factors play a larger role.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the final closing price for Amazon stock on the last trading day of that week is confirmed. The outcome is determined by verifying the official closing price against credible public financial sources. Traders holding shares in the outcome bracket that matches the actual close receive their payout, while other positions expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close, allowing quick settlement and payout distribution to winning traders.
Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major product launches from Amazon can trigger sharp repricing across all outcome brackets. Broader market movements—including Federal Reserve policy shifts, technology sector rotation, or changes in consumer spending expectations—also influence where traders expect AMZN to close. Competitive developments, regulatory news, or macroeconomic data releases in the days leading up to the final trading day can shift sentiment rapidly. Short-term technical factors, options expiration dynamics, and index rebalancing activity may also create intraday volatility that traders monitor when adjusting their positions.
