This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Amazon (AMZN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices."
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, AMZN's weekly close price is priced through outcome shares that traders buy and sell to express their conviction on specific price brackets. Each outcome represents a discrete closing price range, and the cost of a share reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring by Jun 5, 2026. Prices adjust in real time as traders enter and exit positions, with higher-priced outcomes indicating stronger consensus that AMZN will close in that range. Liquidity and order-book depth on Polymarket determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions at fair value.
The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, marking the end of the trading week for Amazon stock. Resolution is determined by AMZN's official closing price on the final trading day of that week. Traders who correctly predicted the closing price bracket win their shares at full value, while incorrect predictions expire worthless. The outcome is objective and derived from verified market data, ensuring a clear and unambiguous settlement. This weekly resolution structure allows traders to quickly validate their thesis and redeploy capital into subsequent prediction events.
Key catalysts include Amazon earnings announcements, cloud infrastructure demand signals, competitive pressures from Microsoft and Google, macroeconomic data affecting consumer spending, and regulatory developments around antitrust or labor practices. Broader market volatility, Fed policy shifts, and tech sector rotation can also drive AMZN price action. Management commentary on advertising revenue, AWS margins, and capital allocation priorities may reshape trader expectations. Geopolitical events or supply-chain disruptions affecting e-commerce logistics could influence sentiment. Any unexpected executive changes or strategic partnerships would likely trigger sharp repricing across the outcome brackets before the week of June 1 closes.
