This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) on June 12 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-time trader conviction rather than periodic research updates. Analysts typically publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts with longer revision cycles, while this market reprices continuously as new information emerges. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus analyst sentiment can reveal whether traders are pricing in different risk factors, earnings surprises, or macroeconomic shifts that equity research has not yet fully reflected.
This market resolves around Jun 12, 2026, once the trading day concludes and Amazon's closing price is finalized. The outcome is determined by whether AMZN's official closing price on that date exceeds the specified threshold, verified against credible public sources such as financial data providers or official exchange records. Participants should monitor market hours and any corporate actions or announcements that could affect the stock price in the final trading sessions leading up to resolution.
Key catalysts include Amazon earnings reports, guidance revisions, macroeconomic data affecting tech valuations, changes in interest rates, competitive developments, and regulatory announcements. Broader market sentiment shifts, sector rotation, or unexpected geopolitical events can also influence large-cap equities. Traders monitor insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and technical support and resistance levels. Any surprise announcement from Amazon leadership or major customer wins or losses could trigger sharp repricing as participants reassess the probability of closing above the target price.
