This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) on June 11 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds on Polymarket represent real-money consensus from traders and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets. While Wall Street analysts publish formal earnings estimates and price forecasts based on fundamental research, prediction markets aggregate forward-looking sentiment from participants with financial skin in the game. Analyst forecasts tend to be more conservative and updated quarterly, whereas prediction market odds adjust continuously based on new information, earnings reports, macroeconomic data, and market sentiment shifts leading up to June 11.
The market resolves on Jun 11, 2026, after the close of regular trading on June 11. The outcome is determined by Amazon's official closing price on that date as reported by financial data providers. Once the market closes and the final price is confirmed, the contract settles based on whether the closing price exceeded the specified threshold. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless.
Key catalysts include Amazon's quarterly earnings announcements, guidance revisions, and management commentary on cloud growth, advertising revenue, and profitability. Broader market movements, Federal Reserve policy shifts, and tech sector rotation can also influence the stock. Company-specific events such as antitrust developments, leadership changes, or major product announcements may trigger sharp repricing. Macroeconomic data on inflation, consumer spending, and GDP growth will affect investor sentiment toward large-cap tech. Technical support and resistance levels near the specified price threshold may also attract algorithmic trading activity.
