This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB) on June 25, 2026 is higher than the Close price for Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB) on the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the Close price for Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB) on June 25, 2026 is lower than the Close price for Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB) on the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless that Friday were a market holiday, in which case it would refer to Thursday, or the next most recent trading day. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either of the relevant days has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. Only prices achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange on which the listed security trades (typically 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) will be considered. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.ABNB%2FUSD. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter. Any timestamp within the listed market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (e.g., https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.ABNB%2FUSD?t=1773432000).

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money commitments from traders rather than consensus estimates. While equity analysts typically issue quarterly or annual price targets based on fundamental models, this market distills near-term directional sentiment into a single binary outcome. Traders betting on Airbnb's June 25 close incorporate recent earnings, macroeconomic signals, and technical patterns into their positions. Comparing prediction odds to published analyst reports can reveal whether the market is pricing in information analysts have overlooked or whether it is discounting near-term volatility that traditional forecasts do not capture.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current probability reflects the cumulative bets placed on each outcome: the higher the demand for an "Up" contract, the higher its price climbs, and vice versa. Prices range from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%), with each contract worth $1 at resolution if correct. This continuous pricing mechanism means the odds shift in real time as new information emerges and traders adjust their positions ahead of the June 25 close.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the trading day concludes and Airbnb's closing price is finalized. The outcome is determined by whether ABNB closes higher or lower than its opening price on that date, verified against credible public sources such as major financial data providers. Traders holding winning contracts receive their payout automatically once the result is confirmed. The binary structure means there is no ambiguity: the stock either moves up or down, and the market settles accordingly.
Several catalysts could shift odds before June 25. Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major regulatory news affecting Airbnb or the travel sector could trigger sharp repricing. Broader market movements, interest rate decisions, or macroeconomic data releases also influence hospitality stocks. Technical factors such as options expiration, short-covering, or algorithmic trading can amplify intraday volatility. Analyst upgrades or downgrades, competitor announcements, and travel demand indicators all provide signals traders monitor. Real-time news flow and social media sentiment can accelerate position adjustments, so staying informed on company-specific and sector-wide developments helps traders anticipate price swings.
