Currently, it’s difficult to directly compare this market to traditional polling data, as polls this far in advance of November 2026 are unlikely to exist or be reliable. However, prediction markets like this one often incorporate a wider range of information than polls alone, including news events, expert opinions, and even subtle shifts in public sentiment expressed on social media. This can lead to differences between the implied probabilities in this market and any available polling averages, especially as the event draws closer and more concrete information emerges. It's important to remember that prediction markets reflect what people *believe* will happen, not necessarily what they *say* will happen.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the market’s collective prediction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information arises, the price will fluctuate, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of different post counts from President Zelenskyy. The current price indicates the probability that a specific outcome will occur, and traders aim to profit by correctly anticipating the final result. The market's efficiency is driven by the incentive to accurately forecast the event.
