This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve adds sticker trade-ups to Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, "sticker trade-ups" is defined as an officially supported in-game mechanic that allows players to combine or exchange multiple stickers to receive a higher-tier sticker. The feature must be fully implemented and accessible to all players in the live game client. If the feature is added as a limited-time, temporary, or beta mechanic that is reversed or removed within 48 hours of its introduction, this market will resolve to "No." This market will remain open for 48 hours after a qualifying feature is released. For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Currently, the prevailing sentiment in this market suggests a relatively low probability of Valve implementing sticker trade-ups before November. This contrasts with some analyst predictions within the Counter-Strike community, where expectations are more divided. While some analysts believe a trade-up system is likely given community demand, others cite Valve’s historical reluctance to introduce such features. The odds on Polymarket reflect a more cautious outlook, indicating that traders are less confident than some analysts regarding the timing of this potential update. It’s important to note that prediction markets represent a collective forecast, while analyst opinions can vary widely.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of Valve adding sticker trade-ups before November, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price adjusts accordingly, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood. The current volume of $2,998 demonstrates active trading and a degree of interest in this potential development from Valve.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether Valve officially announces and implements a sticker trade-up feature for Counter-Strike 2 before the specified date. Any official communication from Valve, such as a blog post or game update, will serve as the basis for determining the outcome. The market will then settle based on whether the feature is live and accessible to players prior to the resolution date, as confirmed by widely available information.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. A direct announcement from Valve regarding potential changes to the Counter-Strike 2 economy, particularly concerning stickers, would be a major catalyst. Leaks from reliable sources within Valve, or prominent data miners discovering evidence of a trade-up system in game files, could also cause a substantial shift in the odds. Conversely, a statement from Valve explicitly dismissing the possibility of trade-ups would likely drive the price down. Community reactions to potential changes, as reflected in social media and forum discussions, may also indirectly influence trading activity in this market.
