This group asks whether Texas Instruments (TXN) will exceed the consensus earnings per share (EPS) estimate in its next quarterly report. The markets rely on official earnings documents, with SeekingAlpha as a backup, and define a timeframe for earnings release to avoid indefinite open markets.
As of market creation, Texas Instruments is estimated to release earnings on October 21, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for Texas Instruments's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $2.44 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Texas Instruments reports GAAP EPS greater than $2.44 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If Texas Instruments releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets reflect the selected street consensus estimate for GAAP EPS as of market creation. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Prediction market odds often provide a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. Analysts may be subject to biases or incentives that influence their recommendations, whereas prediction markets incentivize participants to express their honest beliefs. This market, specifically, reflects the collective wisdom of traders betting with real capital on the outcome of Texas Instruments’ earnings report. While analyst consensus may predict a beat or miss, the pricing on Polymarket and Limitless represents a continuously updated assessment of that probability, incorporating new information as it becomes available. The difference between these odds and analyst expectations can be a valuable signal.
Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Limitless may differ due to variations in user base, trading volume, and platform-specific rules. Polymarket currently favors a positive outcome at 84.5%, while Limitless leans toward a different result. These discrepancies can arise from differing liquidity, risk appetite among traders on each platform, or even the time of day. Furthermore, each platform attracts a different demographic of traders, which may lead to varying interpretations of the available information regarding Texas Instruments’ potential earnings performance. These factors contribute to the dynamic pricing observed across these markets.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on whether Texas Instruments (TXN) reports quarterly earnings that exceed analyst expectations, as determined by a consensus estimate available at the time of the earnings release. The final price of this market will reflect the accuracy of the collective prediction made by traders on Polymarket and Limitless leading up to that date. The outcome will be determined by publicly available financial data.
Several signals could significantly impact this market before Oct 21, 2026. Any news regarding Texas Instruments' guidance for future earnings, major contract wins or losses, or broader macroeconomic trends affecting the semiconductor industry could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements from competitors or changes in supply chain dynamics could also influence prices. Furthermore, any revisions to analyst estimates for TXN's earnings could trigger a response in this market, as traders adjust their predictions based on the latest information available.
