This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Tesla (TSLA) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Tesla (TSLA) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Tesla (TSLA), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Tesla (TSLA) trades governs.

Currently, prediction market participants assign a probability to the outcome of this market, which may differ from traditional analyst forecasts. These forecasts often rely on financial modeling and company reports, while this market reflects real-money opinions. Discrepancies can arise due to differing assumptions, access to information, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate a wide range of perspectives, potentially offering a unique signal compared to standard financial analysis.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of these contracts directly reflects the implied probability of the event happening. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price is driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, indicating greater confidence in the outcome, while increased selling pressure lowers it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether Tesla’s stock price finishes the week of November 2 above a certain level, as determined by standard financial data sources. The final price will be verified against widely recognized financial data providers to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be paid out based on their positions in this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Major news regarding Tesla’s production numbers, earnings reports, or new product announcements would likely cause price fluctuations. Broader economic indicators, such as interest rate changes or overall market sentiment, could also play a role. Unexpected events impacting the automotive industry or the electric vehicle market in general could also shift trader opinions. Any significant positive or negative developments related to Tesla’s competitive landscape could also move this market considerably.
