This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Tesla (TSLA) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Tesla (TSLA) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Tesla (TSLA), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Tesla (TSLA) trades governs.

Currently, it's important to note that prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may base their predictions on fundamental and technical analysis, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and potential catalysts. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, as prediction markets can quickly adapt to new information and changing sentiment. Comparing this market to broader analyst expectations can offer a valuable, alternative view on Tesla’s potential trajectory.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Tesla will close above its current price by the end of October. The price of these contracts directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. These prices are determined solely by supply and demand from users on Opinion, and are not influenced by external factors or other venues. The market’s efficiency comes from the diverse perspectives and information incorporated by its participants.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Tesla stock on the last trading day of October will be compared to the current price to determine whether the market resolves in the affirmative or negative. The resolution will be based on official exchange data and widely recognized financial news sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final result.
