This market will resolve to "Yes" if Google's capital expenditures for the upcoming third fiscal quarter, as reported in its official company earnings materials, is above the listed amount. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The specified metric will be considered as reported in the company's official earnings materials. Subsequent revisions will not be considered. If the specified company's official earnings materials for the specified quarter are released, and the specified metric is not included, this market will resolve based on Google's purchases of property and equipment for the quarter referenced. If both metrics are not included, this market will resolve to "No". If the specified company does not release quarterly earnings materials for the specified quarter by November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". If the specified metric is reported as a range rather than a specific number, the midpoint of the range will be used for resolution of this market. The resolution source for this market is the specified company's official company earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings. If the specified metric is not reported in these materials, recordings or transcripts of the company's earnings webcast may also be used. Note: This market will resolve based on the most numerically precise version of the specified metric reported in the company's official earnings materials. Only the specified metric will be considered; alternate versions that differ in definition or scope from the specified metric will not be considered.

Currently, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than some traditional analyst forecasts regarding Google's capital expenditures. While some analysts predict a conservative approach to spending given the current economic climate, this market suggests a potentially higher level of investment. It's important to note that prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives than a single analyst report. This difference in outlook can be valuable for informed decision-making, offering a contrasting viewpoint to conventional financial analysis.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of Google's Q3 capital expenditures being above the specified level. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the market. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and sentiment. The current price indicates the market's aggregated probability assessment.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official Q3 capital expenditure figures for Google are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the reported amount of capital expenditures as disclosed in Google's official financial statements. The market will then determine whether those expenditures were above or below the threshold specified in the market question. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on their positions in this market.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before it resolves. Any announcements from Google regarding their investment plans, changes in their overall financial outlook, or broader macroeconomic factors impacting capital spending could all influence trading activity. Unexpected economic data releases, shifts in interest rate expectations, or major technological developments within Google's core businesses are also potential catalysts. Positive or negative news regarding Google's cloud infrastructure investments or their artificial intelligence initiatives could also drive price movements in this market.
