This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Amazon (AMZN) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Amazon (AMZN) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Amazon (AMZN), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Amazon (AMZN) trades governs.

Currently, prediction market participants believe there is a significant chance Amazon will finish the week of October 26 above the target price. This contrasts with some analyst forecasts, which are more divided on the stock’s near-term performance. While analysts often consider a wider range of factors, this market represents the collective wisdom of individuals putting their money where their beliefs are. It’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and reflect expectations about future events, whereas analyst ratings often summarize past performance and current conditions.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Amazon (AMZN) stock on the final trading day of the week of October 26 will be compared to the target price established for this market. The resolution will be based on a widely recognized financial data source, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their predictions aligned with the actual closing price.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before it resolves. Major economic data releases, such as inflation reports or GDP figures, could impact overall market sentiment and affect Amazon’s stock price. Company-specific news, including earnings announcements, product launches, or changes in leadership, would also be key catalysts. Unexpected geopolitical events or shifts in investor risk appetite could also drive volatility in the Amazon stock market. Any news that alters expectations for Amazon’s future performance has the potential to move this market substantially.
