This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump or the Trump administration announces a new White House Press Secretary to replace Karoline Leavitt between market creation and the specified date at 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". An individual announced as an acting or interim Press Secretary will not qualify toward this market's resolution. Any qualifying announcement made within this market's time frame will count, regardless of when the new Press Secretary is sworn in or begins serving. This market's primary resolution source will be official information from the Trump administration; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Currently, this market reflects a strong inclination toward an announcement before Oct 1, 2026, with the top outcome holding 54.5% probability on Polymarket. While polling averages aren’t directly comparable, prediction markets often react faster to breaking news and insider speculation, potentially showing divergence from traditional surveys on timing expectations for political staff appointments.
This market resolves around Oct 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact timing depends on official announcements from the Trump administration, after which the market will close and settle based on whether the announcement occurred before or after the deadline.
Key signals that could shift this market include official statements from Trump’s communications team, media reports about potential candidates, or sudden staff changes within the administration. Any indication of an imminent announcement — such as a scheduled press briefing or social media teaser — may cause rapid price adjustments as traders reassess the likelihood of an early outcome.
