While polls capture stated preferences, this market reflects what people believe will *actually* happen, factoring in a wider range of considerations. It's common to see differences, as prediction markets can incorporate information not easily captured in polls, such as strategic considerations or insider knowledge. The market’s assessment may diverge from the most frequently cited polling averages, offering a potentially more accurate forecast of Burnham’s remarks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different possible statements from Andy Burnham, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about its probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand – if more people believe a particular statement is likely, the price of its corresponding share will increase. This creates a dynamic and responsive system for forecasting Burnham’s words at Prime Minister's Questions.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
