This group of markets asks whether Amazon's stock price will reach specific high or low values during the week of November 2, 2026. Markets cover both potential price increases and decreases, with different threshold levels for each.
What will Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) hit Week of November 2 2026?
An "↑" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "High" for Amazon (AMZN) is at or above the price specified in the market at any point inside the window; an "↓" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "Low" is at or below the specified price. Boundary touches count. Markets whose level is never reached before the deadline resolve "No". In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Amazon (AMZN), these markets resolve on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in each market is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) daily price data available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/. If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Amazon (AMZN) trades governs.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often provide a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. Analysts frequently base their predictions on fundamental analysis and company reports, while prediction markets reflect the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to be accurate. This can lead to prediction markets being more responsive to real-time information and potentially more accurate, especially in the short term. Discrepancies can arise due to differing methodologies and the inclusion of subjective factors in analyst reports, versus the objective price discovery process within this market.
Polymarket and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Opinion may differ due to variations in user base, trading activity, and market interpretation. Polymarket might attract a different demographic of traders compared to Opinion, leading to differing risk assessments and predictions. Furthermore, the liquidity and volume on each platform – currently $3,300 – can influence price discovery. While both platforms address the same question about the Amazon stock price, their distinct communities and trading dynamics contribute to potential price discrepancies. These differences are normal in decentralized prediction markets.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Amazon stock price for the specified week is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the closing price of Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) stock during that week, as reported by a widely recognized financial data provider. The outcome of this market will reflect whether the stock price reached the level indicated by the leading outcome at the time of resolution, providing a clear and objective result based on publicly available data.
Numerous signals and events could significantly impact this market. Major economic reports, such as GDP growth or inflation data, could influence investor sentiment towards Amazon and its sector. Company-specific news, including earnings reports, product launches, and changes in leadership, would also be key catalysts. Unexpected geopolitical events or shifts in regulatory policies could also move the market. Finally, broader market trends and overall investor risk appetite will play a role in shaping expectations for Amazon’s stock price and, consequently, the trading activity within this market.
