An "↑" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "High" for Microsoft (MSFT) is at or above the price specified in the market at any point inside the window; an "↓" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "Low" is at or below the specified price. Boundary touches count. Markets whose level is never reached before the deadline resolve "No". In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Microsoft (MSFT), these markets resolve on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in each market is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Microsoft (MSFT) daily price data available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MSFT/. If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Microsoft (MSFT) trades governs.

Currently, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than many traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts often provide point estimates or ranges, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, representing a probability distribution of potential outcomes. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, as analysts may be influenced by biases or short-term factors, whereas this market reflects a broader range of perspectives and incorporates new information as it becomes available. The market’s collective forecast offers a unique, forward-looking view on where Microsoft’s stock price might land.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different Microsoft stock prices. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of Microsoft reaching that price by the specified date. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism means the market is constantly adjusting to new information and changing sentiment. The more traders who believe a certain price will be reached, the higher the price of the corresponding contract will climb, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Microsoft (MSFT) stock during the week of October 26, 2026, will be used to determine the winning contracts. The market will pay out to those who correctly predicted the price range that MSFT actually reaches. It’s important to note that the resolution will rely on publicly available, verifiable data to ensure a fair and transparent outcome.
Several signals and events could significantly move this market. Major announcements from Microsoft regarding new products, earnings reports, and significant changes in leadership are all potential catalysts. Broader economic trends, such as interest rate changes or shifts in the technology sector, could also have a substantial impact. Unexpected geopolitical events or major disruptions in the global supply chain could also influence investor sentiment and, consequently, the price of MSFT. Any news that alters the perceived future growth prospects of Microsoft could lead to shifts in trading activity and price movements in this market.
