If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Meta (META) trades governs.

Frequently asked questions

On Opinion, the dashboard for the Meta stock price market tracks the current implied probabilities for various price points, providing a visual representation of where traders believe the stock will land. You’ll find a price history chart showing how predictions have shifted over time, as well as the total volume traded – currently $0 – and the 24-hour volume, which is $0. This allows you to gauge market sentiment and activity surrounding Meta’s future stock performance. The dashboard also highlights the most likely outcome according to traders on Opinion.

Currently, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than many traditional analyst forecasts for Meta. While analysts often provide point estimates or ranges, this market allows traders to express probabilities across a spectrum of potential prices. This can reveal a more nuanced view of uncertainty. If analysts are generally bullish, you might see higher prices favored in this market, but the shape of the probability distribution – how much weight traders place on different outcomes – could diverge significantly from a typical analyst report. This market provides a real-time, aggregated forecast based on financial incentives.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different Meta stock prices. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that price being reached. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, creating a real-time forecast. The current implied probabilities are shaped by the actions of individuals who are putting their capital at risk, offering a unique signal compared to polls or surveys. The most active price point currently has a volume of $0.

This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Meta stock on the Friday of that week will be used to determine the winning price point. The market will then pay out to those who correctly predicted the price range. This resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure a transparent and objective outcome. Traders should monitor news and events related to Meta leading up to this date, as these could significantly impact the final stock price.

Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Major earnings reports from Meta, announcements regarding new products or technologies (like the metaverse), changes in regulatory environments impacting tech companies, and broader macroeconomic trends could all influence trader sentiment. Unexpected news regarding Meta’s user growth, revenue, or profitability would likely cause substantial price fluctuations. Shifts in investor confidence in the tech sector, or even geopolitical events, could also play a role. Monitoring these factors will be key to understanding how this market evolves before Oct 9, 2026.
