An "↑" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "High" for Google (GOOGL) is at or above the price specified in the market at any point inside the window; an "↓" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "Low" is at or below the specified price. Boundary touches count. Markets whose level is never reached before the deadline resolve "No". In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Google (GOOGL), these markets resolve on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in each market is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Google (GOOGL) daily price data available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/GOOGL/. If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Google (GOOGL) trades governs.

Currently, prediction market participants, through this market, are expressing their collective view on where Google’s stock price will be in October 2026. This differs from traditional analyst forecasts, which are often based on financial modeling and company reports. While analysts may provide a range of price targets, this market represents a weighted average of numerous individual predictions, potentially incorporating a broader range of information and perspectives. It’s important to remember that both prediction markets and analyst forecasts are attempts to anticipate future events, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different Google stock prices. The prices of these contracts reflect the market’s collective belief about the probability of those prices being reached. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular price is likely, the higher the price of the corresponding contract will be. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information and sentiment. The current top outcome, as indicated by trading volume, is a downward movement in the stock price.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Google (GOOGL) stock on the Friday of that week will be used to determine the winning outcome. The market will then pay out to those who correctly predicted the price range. It’s important to note that the resolution will rely on publicly available financial data and will not be subject to subjective interpretation. Traders should monitor news and financial reports leading up to the resolution date.
