An "↑" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "High" for Apple (AAPL) is at or above the price specified in the market at any point inside the window; an "↓" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "Low" is at or below the specified price. Boundary touches count. Markets whose level is never reached before the deadline resolve "No". In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Apple (AAPL), these markets resolve on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in each market is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Apple (AAPL) daily price data available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AAPL/. If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Apple (AAPL) trades governs.

Currently, prediction market participants, through this market, suggest a different outlook than many traditional analyst forecasts for Apple’s stock price in October 2026. While analysts often provide point estimates or ranges, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, expressing predictions as probabilities across a spectrum of potential outcomes. It’s important to note that analyst forecasts are often based on models and assumptions, while this market reflects real-money bets, potentially offering a more accurate signal of what traders believe will happen.
On Opinion, this market is priced using a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy and sell contracts representing different Apple stock prices. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that price being reached by October 2026, as determined by supply and demand. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust their bids and asks based on their own research, news events, and overall market sentiment, creating a dynamic pricing mechanism. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, and the current price distribution represents the collective prediction of all participants.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Apple stock price on that date is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official closing price of Apple stock (AAPL) as reported by a major financial exchange. The contract corresponding to the closest price to the actual closing price will be considered the winning outcome. Traders will then be paid out based on their holdings in that contract.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Major announcements from Apple regarding new products, financial performance, or strategic shifts would likely have a substantial impact. Broader economic conditions, such as interest rate changes or recessions, could also influence investor sentiment towards Apple. Unexpected news related to the technology sector, competitor actions, or regulatory changes are other potential catalysts. Geopolitical events and global market trends could also play a role in shaping predictions within this market.
