This market will resolve to "Up" if the TSM/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the TSM/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the TSM/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/tsm-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink TSM/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-27T18:15:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may issue buy or sell recommendations based on fundamental and technical analysis, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, representing a broader range of information and potential catalysts. Discrepancies can arise from differing interpretations of economic data, geopolitical risks, or company-specific news. It's common to see this market anticipating events before they are fully priced into analyst targets, or conversely, exhibiting more skepticism than prevailing expert opinions.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the TSMC stock will be up or down by the specified resolution date. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of 'up' contracts will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market constantly adjusts to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the closing price of TSMC stock on October 27th, between 2:15 PM and 2:30 PM ET, is higher or lower than its opening price on the same day. The final price will be sourced from standard financial data providers and will be publicly available. The market will then settle based on this verified price movement.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 27, 2026. Major catalysts include unexpected earnings reports from TSMC, significant shifts in global semiconductor demand, geopolitical developments impacting Taiwan, or broader macroeconomic news affecting the technology sector. Any news related to key customers of TSMC, such as Apple or Nvidia, could also influence trading activity. Additionally, changes in interest rate expectations or inflation data could impact investor sentiment towards growth stocks like TSMC, driving price fluctuations in this market.
